To Exercise or Not…

Exercise The Rest Of The Story

When it comes to weight loss, most people would agree that, exercise plays a crucial role in how fast or how quickly one loses weight.

Is exercise beneficial when one is not trying to lose weight?

To see just how valuable it is, one needs to know about the body’s lymphatic system. The lymphatic system is a network of ducts and nodes. These nodes are distributed throughout the body and are concentrated in the chest, arm pits, neck, and groin. The lymphatic system’s primary function is to carry toxins from the extremities to be removed.

Contractions of the heart cause the blood to circulate through the veins and arteries, but the lymphatic system does not have a pump. Contractions of the muscles, primarily those of the arms and legs, serves as a pump for the lymphatic fluid.

The lymph nodes also produce white blood cells which help control invading germs and viruses. The lymph ducts and nodes swell when overloaded with toxins, and becomes incapable of removing more toxic waste.

Exercise is one of the primary ways to remove toxins and prevent the immune system from becoming weakened and unprotected from germs and viruses. The result is sickness and other health issues.

If one wants to be healthy and disease free, exercise regularly, at least 3 or 4 times a week.
